Oh celebs, how we love them – their crazy cars and manis, fab holidays and glam red carpet looks! The 2019 Golden Globes gave us endless entertainment as movie stars and musicians strutted their stuff. We couldn’t resist sharing some of the wow-est outfits, as well as the ones that made us go “hmm…”

The winners…

Everyone loves Lupita
Lupita Nyongo’s blue gown has a classic shape, but she upped the ante with all those sparkles. Also, every outfit looks amazing when Michael B Jordan of Black Panther fame is giving you his million dollar smile.

Like a mermaid
Emma Stone, who was nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role, dazzled us in this Louis Vuitton gown. Apparently it took over 800 hours to make – which sounds about right when you consider that all the embellishments were done by hand.

Total winner
When she arrived in this striking yet simple gown, Regina King won our hearts. But what really made her the winner of the night was her acceptance speech for Best Actress, which she got for If Beale Street Could Talk. In it, she fiercely committed to having at least 50% women on all her future projects.

The hostess with the mostest
Sandra Oh, the evening’s host, wore three gowns, but the one we swooned over the most was the white number she arrived in. The gathered bodice and elegant train reminded us of old-style Hollywood glamour. She’s also the first person of Asian descent to ever host the ceremony, and the first in 39 years to win for best lead actress. Yes!

They certainly made a statement…

A bit of everything
Multi-talented singer, actor and performer Billy Porter made sure that everyone remembered his entrance in an embroidered suit with matching grey cape and a hot pink lining! It was custom made by Randi Rahm, and he finished it off with heels by Gucci.

True blue
Never one to do things in half measures, Lady Gaga went all out in a massive blue dress and dyed her hair to match. She also took home the Globe for best song.

Mad hatter?
Musician Janelle Monae opted for a black tunic dress over a white one, embellished with gold. And a gold hat. We’re filing this one under “interesting”.

Mixing it up
Hollywood sweetheart Julia Roberts went for the best of both worlds with a nude skirt and top over black tuxedo trousers. Because sometimes you just can’t decide.
