The rooms at Indie Hot Yoga are heated to 40 degrees Celsius, which is WAY hotter than your lounge heater will go. The heat allows your muscles to stretch safely as the instructor guides you through the series of 26 poses. Benefits include stress relief, muscle strengthening and toning, and improved circulation. Plus it will warm you up for the whole day. Indie Hot Yoga is at 3 Quartz Road and they have a variety of classes every day, including hot pilates.

No, we haven’t lost our minds. Did you know that the Virgin Active at Cedar Square has a heated pool and Aqua classes? It’s a great way to workout in a non-impact way and feel like it’s summer. Win-win.

Take the “work” out of “workout” and jump into fitness at Bounce. It’s a fun session that the whole family will love. If you think that it’s not good exercise, you aren’t doing it right. It’s also hard to stay on the couch when the kids are dragging you out the door.
