Fourways has done it again with a great lineup of events and things to do. From art to music, burgers and holiday fun, there’s something for everyone!
If the kids have got some extra energy to burn during the school holidays, set off to The Fun Company at Fourways Mall. Their Half Price Holiday Special is exactly what it says on the box: 50% off all attractions between 9am and 11am every day of the holidays. So let them bash into each other in go-karts, pew-pew their way through laser tag, and knock down some skittles.
Sneaky burger jam
The last Wednesday of every month, which is on 27 March, Smokin Aces at The Buzz host a Muso Lunch, featuring a live old school jam session. You can even join in if you are brave enough. They also have a half-price special on burgers – a must at this American style diner. This one is worth sneaking out of the office for. (We won’t tell.)
We’ve gone dotty!
Find your happy place with a Dot Art workshop. This three-hour session harnesses the natural creativity that lives in all of us, one dot at a time. For R400, the facilitator will guide you through the basics of dot art and get you going on a project. You’ll be given all the tools and materials you need, as well as a starter kit to take home. It’s on at The Secret Tea Garden on Sunday 24 March, from 10am.
Did you know that kids eat free every Monday at Pellegrino Toscano at Cedar Square? Whaaaat?!?! It’s true. (They do need to be under 12, so just acting like a kid isn’t going to cut it.) For every adult meal ordered, you get a kids’ one on the house. We can never decide between slurping up a tagliatelle salsiccia e porcini (Italian pork sausage, porcini mushrooms, roasted garlic, napoletana sauce and a touch of cream) or munching on a pizza with Parma ham and rocket.
